Cherry Street Players

The Cherry Street Players is a children’s performance troupe and outreach of the Black Hills Community Theatre. This program is for all Black Hills youths, ages 9-17, who wish to explore their artistic talent. Fall and Spring sessions are offered. Weekly classes involve children in learning the fundamentals of creating live theatre. Students improve communication & teamwork skills through memorization of scenes and monologues, games and dynamic stage exercises. This is not just for those young ones who want to perform onstage. There are many aspects to live theatre including carpentry, crafts, costumes, sound, lights, to name a few. This is a tuition-based program.
