Donations and Sponsorships

Black Hills Community Theatre is incorporated in South Dakota as a not for profit organization and is recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) entity.  Donations to assist in the programming and operations of BHCT are tax deductible as allowed by law and gratefully accepted. 

Revenue from ticket sales makes up only about 30 percent of the amount that it takes for Black Hills Community Theatre to mount our shows and do our community programming.  Some of the money comes from grants, but the biggest part comes from the incredibly generous individuals who make financial contributions and from businesses in the Black Hills which support our main stage productions through financial sponsorships.

Main Stage Full Show/Dinner Theatre Sponsorship: ($3,000)
       ( NOTE: partial sponsorship also available)

  • Your ad page will be in the sponsored show program, your company logo / name will be on the program cover of the sponsored show and your company will be acknowledged in all other main stage programs.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.

  • You may invite up to 50 people to a preview performance of the sponsored show. (Main Stage Theatre ONLY!)

  • You will receive 10 complimentary tickets to attend any performance of each sponsored show. (Main Stage Theatre ONLY!)

  • Your company will have exposure at the Rushmore Mall and a link from this website to your company website during sponsored show

  • Plus much more!!


Youngstage Sponsorship: ($500 per show or $2000 for the season)

  • Your company logo/name will be on the cover of the sponsored show's posters and program.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.

  • You will receive 10 complimentary tickets to attend any performance of each sponsored show.

  • Your company will have exposure at the Rushmore Mall and a link from this website to your company website during sponsored show

  • Plus much more!!


Cherry Street Players Sponsorship
:($500 per show or $1000 for both shows)

  • Your company logo/name will be on the cover of the sponsored show's posters and program.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.

  • You will receive 10 complimentary tickets to attend any performance of each sponsored show.

  • Your company will have exposure at the Rushmore Mall and a link from this website to your company website during sponsored show

  • Plus much more!!


TICKET SPONSORSHIPS

Main Stage Ticket Sponsorship:($250 per show, $1250 for the season)

  • Your company logo and/or promotional coupon will be on the back of all tickets for sponsored show. Choose to sponsor the entire season and you will have the option to change your coupon offer for each show sponsored.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.


Youngstage Ticket Sponsorship
:($125 per show, $400 for the season)

  • Your company logo and/or promotional coupon will be on the back of all tickets for sponsored show. Choose to sponsor the entire season and you will have the option to change your coupon offer for each show sponsored.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.


Cherry Street Player Ticket Sponsorship
:($125 per show, $200 for 2 shows)

  • Your company logo and/or promotional coupon will be on the back of all tickets for sponsored show. Choose to sponsor the entire season and you will have the option to change your coupon offer for each show sponsored.

  • Your company will be acknowledged in the Pre-show announcement given before each performance of the sponsored show.
