Into the Woods
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Book by James Lapine
March 12th-21st, 2027
Historic Theater

In this Sondheim classic, well-known fairy-tale characters cross paths and storylines as they journey through the woods. Jack returns from his trip up the beanstalk, Rapunzel escapes the tower, Cinderella finds her prince, a haggard witch regains her beauty, and the Baker and his wife will stop at nothing to reverse the curse on their family. They’re all about to learn that there’s more to the story than happy ever after. A gorgeous score and memorable songs make Into the Woods a modern classic and one of Sondheim’s most popular works.
