24-Hour Play Festival

Picture
Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th, 2023
BHCT kicks off our 23-24 season with our annual 24 Hour Play Festival! Over the course of 24-hours local theatre artists bring to life six world premiere plays. At 7pm Friday night, playwrights from our Broken Lemons playwriting group are assigned a title and a team of actors through a random drawing. The next morning directors and actors begin rehearsals. At 7pm on Saturday, all six new plays get their world premiere! With only 24 hours from page to stage, anything can happen and often does. Join us for all the fun!
