24-Hour Play Festival

PROGRAMMED BY MERLYN Q. SELL
Friday, February 25th and Saturday, February 26th

The Performing Arts Center of Rapid City is requiring masks for all audiences at this time
and socially distanced seating is available on request.
Join BHCT for our second annual 24-Hour Play Festival! Within the span of 24-hours, six playwrights will each write a new play, performed mere hours later for a live audience!

How does it work? Local writers, directors, and actors have 24 hours to bring all new scripts to life - from writing to final performance! On Friday evening, February 25, at 7:30pm playwrights will be assigned a director, actors, and a title through a random drawing. Directors and actors begin rehearsals of the brand new 10-minute plays the next morning. At 7:30pm on Saturday, they share the world-premiere performance of these scripts with our BHCT audience. See what wonderful, funny, amazing things we can accomplish in just 24 hours!
