24-Hour Play Festival

PROGRAMMED BY MERLYN Q. SELL
Friday, August 26th and Saturday August 27th, 2022
Join BHCT for our third annual 24-Hour Play Festival! Within the span of 24-hours, six playwrights will each write a new play, performed mere hours later for a live audience!

How does it work?
Local writers, directors, and actors have 24 hours to bring all new scripts to life - from writing to final performance! On Friday evening, August 26th, at 7:30pm playwrights will be assigned a director, actors, and a title through a random drawing. Directors and actors begin rehearsals of the brand new 10-minute plays the next morning. At 7:30pm on Saturday, join us to see the world-premiere of plays written and rehearsed in only 24 hours. You never know what will happen but you know it'll be fun!
