Stalag 17 by Donald Bevan and Edmund Trzcinski Directed by Merlyn Q. Sell Friday May 29th at 7pm in the Studio Theater Pay What You Can Sponsored by Duane and Margie Neugebauer Black Hills Community Theatre continues its Discovery Series with a staged reading of the classic play Stalag 17. This turbulent and gutsy play tells the story of a group of American prisoners who embarrass and irritate their captors as they try to escape from a German prison camp. The tensions rise as it is discovered that one of the prisoners is in fact working as a double agent for the Germans and the excitement and suspense continues racing until the play's conclusion. BHCT Discovery Series: The Thin Place by Lucas Hnath Directed by Heidi Dehn Friday October 31st at 7pm in the Studio Theatre Admission for this spooky play reading is Pay What You Can Linda communicates, professionally, with the dead. Hilda, a keen listener and observer who’s grappling with loss, takes a great interest in Linda’s abilities. She befriends the veteran medium, seeking answers that lie across the fragile boundary between our world and the other one.
