10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
By: Don Zolidis
It’s the end of the world and hordes of rampaging zombies are trying to kill you. What do you do?? Don’t worry! Our two guides will lay out a variety of scenarios to help you navigate the apocalypse. Obviously, sacrificing the weak is step one!

Everyone Gets Eaten by Sharks
By: Marshall Pailet
Fact: most people, well actually everyone, will eventually get eaten by sharks. But you can postpone the inevitable with the help of Adventure Dan! He will guide you through various, common shark-infested scenarios to avoid, such as kayaking with meat paddles. Join Adventure Dan to learn what to do (and also hear about his great deal on a timeshare)!

After each show, our students will host a live auction where you can bid on a poster of their show signed by the entire cast; the proceeds will go to scholarships for our youth theatre program!

Since its inception in 1999, the Cherry Street Players has introduced over 350 young people ages 8-14 to the artistic and technical fundamentals of theater. Students  participate in classroom exercises and instruction that culminate in the rehearsal and performance of a fully staged production each semester. All participants get a chance to showcase what they’ve learned and experience the excitement of performing live for the community.

The spring semester usually runs January to April and the fall semester runs September to December. Contact us to be added to the mailing list and get notified of new education programs as they are announced.

If you would like to learn more or join the Cherry Street Players, please call 605-394-2250 or email [email protected].

Scholarships are provided through the Nicolas Christenson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Nic was an inspirational mentor and Cherry Street teacher who believed fully in the life-long value of theatre education.

You can support the fund by clicking here and noting in the comments that the donation is for CSP Scholarships.
