Picture
“If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumbered here
While these visions did appear."
When two pair of star-crossed lovers, a troop of inept amateur actors, a feuding pair of supernatural sprites and a love potion gone awry all come together in an enchanted moonlit forest, the result is an unequalled mixture of merriment and magic.

Adapted and directed by Merlyn Q. Sell, MFA in Shakespeare and Performance.

Since its inception in 1999, the Cherry Street Players has introduced over 350 young people ages 8-14 to the artistic and technical fundamentals of theater. Students  participate in classroom exercises and instruction that culminate in the rehearsal and performance of a fully staged production each semester. All participants get a chance to showcase what they’ve learned and experience the excitement of performing live for the community.
