Jim Hawkins and his mother run the Benbow Inn, catering to a myriad of customers. When one of those customers, former pirate Billy Bones, dies, he leaves behind a treasure map. With the help of the no-nonsense Captain Smollett, and the clueless Squire Trelawney and Dr. Livesey, Jim sets sail to recover the lost treasure of Captain Flint. Along the way he makes a friend in the ship's mysterious cook, Long John Silver. But all is not as it seems. Jim must decide where his loyalties lie when the crew mutinies and the hunt for Flint's treasure becomes a matter of life and death.
